(KUTV) — The Utah House and Senate Democrats are hosting a public hearing on medical cannabis on Wednesday.

The purpose of the hearing is “to discuss the Utah Medical Cannabis Act, Proposition 2 and the medical cannabis landscape more broadly,” a media advisory stated.

Experts from both sides of the issue will begin the first 30 minutes of the hearing, the advisory said.
