A drag queen dressed as Elsa from Frozen was filmed pushing a police van that got stuck in the snow.
Journalist Christopher B. Haynes captured the eye-catching good deed during a Nor’Easter in Boston Tuesday, and shared the video to his Facebook page.
He wrote: ‘Yup, that just happened.
Drag ‘Elsa’ just single-handedly pushed out a stuck police wagon.
‘Only in the South End and The Gallows.’</span>
The Disney princess then pushes the large white van as it skids in the snow, with her dress billowing in the wind.
She conscientiously directs the driver, and continues to help push it, as patrons in the bar laugh, with one even singing ‘Let him go Elsa!’
After one huge push, the van appears to roll free – only to slide back into deep snow, prompting Elsa to give an exasperated hand-gesture to those watching her struggle.
Seconds later, the cop wagon is finally free – prompting cheers from indoors – and a curtsy from Elsa as she gives a girlish tug of one of her blond plaits.
The video has since gone viral, with thousands praising the Good Samaritan for stepping up to help the police.
Elsa’s troubled story made her an instant gay icon after Frozen was released in 2013.
Her self-imposed imprisonment in an ice castle resonated with many in the LGBT community – as did voice actress Idina Menzel’s uplifting rendition of Let It Go.
There have been rumours the Arundel Princess will have a girlfriend in the sequel, with Idina and writer Jennifer Lee both welcoming the idea.
